Amharclann Ghaoth Dobhair

Amharclann Ghaoth Dobhair is the only Irish language theatre in the country that is situated in the heart of the Gaeltacht. Gweedore is a deep well for the Irish language, and this depth and wealth of language contributes to the fact that the local population are particularly talented and creative.

The Amharclann provides an exemplary artistic hub where this unique community can express their creative life as well as nurturing and preserving the Irish language, culture and arts.

Caifé Ard na gCeapairí offers a wide selection of sandwiches, pizzas and paninis as well as desserts and tasty treats.
The café is open Monday-Friday from 11 to 4.
The café is also available for events.
